Lortone drum machine model QT12 (1x6kg)
Lortone drum machine (rotary Tumbler) model QT-12. This drum machine has one drum suitable for 6 kilograms of stones (capacity 4.2 liters). This powerful Lortone drum machine is extremely suitable for larger pieces and more volume. The inside of the drum has 10 surfaces for better drum action and faster results. Also very suitable for polishing (precious) metals, such as silver, bronze, brass and stainless steel.
NB watch out for a possible "wrong" combination of metal-polishing soap and the rubber drum. Practice shows that, for example, aluminum with the rubber drum combined with some liquids/chemicals gives a dull gray-black deposit on the material! This does not have to happen gradually but can happen suddenly. Often the drum is then no longer usable for this particular method. Also, this deposit is difficult to remove because of an aluminum surface reaction with the rubber and liquid.
