Diver mode
If you want to dive to a depth of several meters, you can set the Quest Scuba Tector to diver mode. This mode ensures that the 2 pushbuttons are not depressed by underwater pressure. You can activate the scuba tector underwater by moving it up and down a few times. (Many people who unwrap the Scuba and move it back and forth hear rattling and then think something is loose from the electronics. This has to do with automatically activating the scuba underwater and so is not broken.)
