The Quest V80 metal detector has a frequency range from 5 to 80 KHz and features HyperQ simultaneous multi-frequency technology that allows you to search with multiple search frequencies simultaneously. It is waterproof up to 5 meters underwater and features a telescopic handle that can be retracted to 49 cm.
The V80 comes with wireless Quest PRO headphones and is equipped with a 28 x 26 cm Blizzard search coil for optimal performance. The built-in 5000mAh Li-Po battery can be charged with a USB type-c cable and will last 10 to 15 hours fully charged. In short, a professional top detector with a very good price/quality ratio!
Multi-purpose, waterproof and HyperQ.
The HyperQ technology of the V80 is able to transmit multiple search frequencies of a wide range up to as much as 80 kHz simultaneously into the ground to better find smaller objects with higher precision even in difficult soil conditions. You can also set the V80 to a single search frequency, including
- 60 kHz
Combined with its five search programs (Park, field, beach, gold and cache) and its waterproofness to 5 meters is multi-purpose. Ideal for those with different search goals who,are active. Both as a field searcher (looking for coins and fine antiquities) as a beach searcher, water searcher, militaria searcher and as a gold searcher.
Or someone who, in addition to regular use, likes to take his detector with him to distant vacation resorts by the sea, in the mountains or in extreme mineral deposits.
Are you such a versatile detectorist? Then the V80 is the perfect detector for you!
Built-in gyro sensor
You can instruct the Quest V80 metal detector to automatically start ground balancing without manually pressing a button. All you then have to do is find a spot where there is no metal and then pump the search coil up and down.
The Gyro sensor recognizes this movement and then the automatic ground balance is performed. You can also set the V80 to automatically jump to energy-saving mode as soon as the search coil is not moved for 5 seconds. If you move the search coil from left to right again, it activates automatically.
The display of the V80 has backlighting in several levels, allowing you to read all information from the clear display at all times, even in bright sunlight. Unlike other matrix pixel displays, the reflective LCD consumes less than 10um of power, saving power so you can search longer.
The Quest V80 metal detector features a 4-piece handle which is very compactly retractable to a whopping 49 cm, making transport and storage much easier. The armrest can be easily moved or removed from the handle by means of two screws.
The handle to which the control box is attached is also easy to adjust by means of a snap lock. After extending and adjusting to your length, the V80 construction is perfectly balanced and thus provides a comfortable searching experience.
Blizzard search coil
The V80 comes with the latest 28 x 26 cm Blizzard11 search coil. This double-D search coil is lightweight and robust, providing deeper penetration and higher resistance to mineralization. (Optionally available is the 24 x 14 cm Blizzard9 which is included with the V80 Bundle).
Different tone setting
If you like to identify buried objects through audio tones, you can set this on the V80 completely to your personal preference. Namely, you can select how many different tones you want to hear where you can choose from 2, 3, 5 and 99 tones.
Of the selected number of tones you can adjust the tonebreak, for example a low tone for ID values from 1 to 25, a middle tone from 26 to 70 and a high tone from 71 to 99. You can also adjust the volume and pitch for each tone.
The V80 features a built-in 5600 mAh lithium battery which has more power. You can easily charge the battery with the included USB type-c charging cable. The battery life is 10 to 15 hours.
With the V80, you can quickly and easily perform an interference suppression with the push of a button that searches in 10 seconds for the frequency channel on which no to little interference is received.
The modern design is completely waterproof up to a whopping 5 meters underwater. This allows you to search with your V80 metal detector in all weather conditions and on any terrain without any problems and even underwater. If your detector gets dirty during your search or you have searched in salt water, you can rinse it completely under the tap.
Despite its many setting options, the V80 is a user-friendly and easy-to-use metal detector, making it suitable for all users.
It features 5 different search modes and all the important functionalities including pinpoint function, discrimination/notch function, object identification ID from 1 to 99, volume control, iron filter, threshold/background tone, recovery speed and even has a vibration function as a detection signal.
No more annoying cables, because the Quest V80 also has a built-in wireless module and comes with Quest Pro wireless headphones. These headphones are adjustable, extremely comfortable and cover your entire ears so you can focus on the tones to the fullest.
