XP is proud to present the first Bone conduction headphones designed for metal detection, the BH-01. Made in France by XP. The headphones are IP68 waterproof up to 20m underwater, allowing you to dive with your XP Deus 2.
When using ordinary waterproof headphones underwater, the ear fills with water and hearing is often impaired. BH-01 sits in front of the ears on the cheekbone and delivers sound directly to the inner ear through vibrations on the bones, without stressing the eardrums. Your ears are thus free.
In disturbed or noisy water, you can easily dive with earplugs to prevent infection or simply to better isolate yourself from noise. This way you can hear the sound perfectly through bone conduction while protecting your ears.
You can also use these headphones on land with the freedom to be able to hear your surroundings or just isolate yourself from a noisy environment, again with earplugs.
With BH-01, hearing-impaired people can also feel the vibrations generated by objects. Adjusting the audio frequencies downward (100 to 300 kHz) could further improve perception depending on the condition.
